Role Overview
The Driver position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As part of our Abdulla Al Masaood and Sons Motorcycles (Harley-Davidson) team, you'll work in an ONSITE environment and will be responsible for transporting motorcycles and related materials to various locations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. This role plays a vital part in connecting our brand with customers, dealers, and event partners.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive motorcycles for delivery to customers, dealers, and at events.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational functionality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and logs.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Correctly load and unload motorcycles and equipment, ensuring their safety and integrity.
- Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and company policies during operations.
- Identify and report any vehicle maintenance needs, and assist with routine maintenance checks.
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Must have requirements
- Valid UAE Driving license for manual transmission vehicles.
- 4-5 years total driving experience, with at least 2-3 years in the UAE moving luxury vehicles or motorcycles safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant training in logistics or transportation is beneficial.
- Fluent in English; Arabic speaking skills are an added advantage.
- Prior experience as a driver, preferably within a motorcycle or automotive setting.
- Flexibility with working hours and a passion for partnering with premium brands.
- Strong knowledge of local Abu Dhabi roads and traffic patterns.
- Professional appearance and conduct when interacting with customers.
- Physical fitness and capability to move heavy motorcycles safely.
- Basic mechanical understanding of motorcycles for minor troubleshooting.
